William (Billy) Baldasare, age 69, of Sayreville passed away peacefully on Friday April 27, 2018 at his home with his loving family at his side. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he has resided in Sayreville for the past 33 years.
Mr. Baldasare was employed for over 30 years by Bank of America in Manhattan, as a Vice President of Account Administration for Global Treasury Solutions. He was a communicant of Saint Bernadette’s R. C. Church in Parlin.

Predeceased by his parents Francesco & Katherine Baldasare, he is survived by his wife Lavana Walter Baldasare, his son Billy Joe Baldasare, his daughter Alexa Baldasare, his brother James Baldasare of Port Monmouth, NJ and his brother Frank Baldasare of Tarrytown, NY. He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, as well as his many friends and co-workers.

Billy was a wonderful, loving and supportive father and husband, whose untimely passing has taken a huge piece of our hearts. His sense of humor was legendary. No one was safe from one of his perfectly timed one-liners, which will keep us laughing forever. Many things brought him joy (including giving his wife grief ). He was a music lover and an avid sports fan (Go Yankees! Go Giants!), who spent many hours driving his children to and from practice and games and being their biggest fan. He cherished his semi-annual reunion with “the boys” and spending long evenings laughing and talking over dinner and drinks with Lavana and friends. Summer days around the pool with family and friends, a Corona in hand, made him the happiest… unless, of course, he was going to Atlantic City!

He was looking forward to welcoming a new son into the family with the recent engagement of his daughter to Russell Miller of Lambertville, NJ. It brought him happiness knowing that his little girl had found love and was in good hands by joining his wonderful family.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Thursday, May 3 2018 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4th, 10:15am at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, NJ, followed by an 11:00am mass at Saint Bernadette’s R. C . Church in Parlin, NJ, with private cremation to follow.
