John “Jas”Jankowski, age 70 of Belmar passed away at his home with his loving
wife at his side on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Before his retirement John
worked as a systems engineer at AT&T in Middletown.
He is predeceased by his parents John and Stella Jankowski. Surviving are his
wife of 48 years Christine Russo Jankowski, their son Andrew Jankowski, his sister
Theresa “Terry” Kelly and many loving friends and family members.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday October 26, 2018 from 3pm to 7pm
at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, with a Prayer
Service at 6pm.
John enjoyed carpentry, car restoration, playing tennis, traveling, playing keyboard, and was always determined to learn and excel at new skills and crafts. His beliefs were unwavering, his convictions were rooted in integrity and respect.
He was a dignified man of strong principles. He was a steadfast and loyal husband, father, and friend.
