Thomas  M  Wos
Thomas M. Wos, age 55 of Sayreville, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018, at St. Peter's University Hospital with his loving family at his side. Born in South Amboy, he resided in Sayreville all of his life. He was a graduate of Rutgers University and was currently employed by Prudential Retirement (formerly Prudential Mutual Funds Services - PMFS) in Iselin for 28 years as a Workflow Production Coordinator and prior to that for Merrill Lynch in Somerset for 3 years.
He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church in Sayreville where he was also a member of the Parish Finance Council and a volunteer worker at the St. Stan's Carnival for many years.
Tom was a season ticket holder for Rutgers football and basketball and he was an avid New York Mets fan. He was active in local basketball and softball leagues over the years. His hobbies included photography, playing golf, and traveling. He enjoyed traditional Polish foods, vacationing at the Jersey shore, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his brother-in-law, Thomas Krolick, Sr. in 2007. Surviving are his parents, Witolda (Vicky) and Michael Wos, his five sisters Kathleen Krolick of Parlin, Karen Wagner and her husband Robert of Hillsborough, Joanne and Janet of Sayreville, and Michele daSilva and her husband Paul of North Carolina. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Thomas Krolick, Jr. and his wife Deanna, Michael Krolick and his fiancée Ashley Rada, Kaitlyn Krolick, Kevin Krolick, Robert Krolick, Jennifer Wagner, Kristina Wagner and her fiancé John Stefanowicz, and his great-nephews Tyler and Dylan Krolick.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's name can be made to the St. Stanislaus Kostka School Endowment Fund or to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 9:30am from the Maliszewski Memorial Home 121 Main St. Sayreville with a 10am funeral mass to follow at St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church in Sayreville. Burial will take place at St Stan’s Cemetery in Sayreville.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm.
