Barbara Clark became friends with Helena because of their granddaughter, Margaret. They spoke over the phone on a weekly basis and Barb always looked forward to those conversations. She learned so much about Baba's life and admired the courageous and loving person that she was. They shared a love of family and routinely exchanged greeting cards, letters, and gifts. Barbara says that Helena's cookies were more than delicious! Their friendship, although too short lived, was heartfelt and meaningful. Barbara is saddened by the loss of her dear friend. Helena will be in her heart forever.
